How do energy storage systems work?
An energy storage system, built using lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells, stores energy in the form of direct current (DC). When connected to a hybrid inverter or dedicated Energy Management System (EMS), it can power the facility during non-sunlight hours, increase self-consumption, and provide backup power in off-grid mode. Thanks to modular design, capacity can be scaled – from a few kWh in home systems to hundreds of kWh in commercial installations.
