The power optimizers SolarEdge - S1200-1GMYMBV are DC-DC devices directly connected to photovoltaic modules to maximize the obtained energy through independent tracking of the maximum power point (MPPT). They effectively regulate the voltage of the chain independently of its length or environmental conditions. They have a safe voltage function, automatically reducing the voltage to 1 V DC in case of a malfunction, disconnection from the inverter, or inverter shutdown.

The optimizers transmit information about the module's operation to the inverter through the DC power cable. There are two types available: an additional power optimizer connected to one or several modules, and intelligent modules with built-in optimizers. In the S series, the connection arrangement has been improved, where the positive connector cable is long, and the negative one is short, eliminating loose hanging of the connector from the roof and reducing the impact of moisture.

The SolarEdge - S1200-1GMYMBV power optimizer includes a 25-year warranty, which begins after the earlier of two events: (i) four months from the date of dispatch of the power optimizers by SolarEdge; or (ii) after the installation of the power optimizers.
